About Me
A little bit about myself, when I left school I studied animal management at Lackham College. I learnt about animal behaviour as well as a lot of hands on experience on a variety of animals from a Goat to an Iguana. We had to complete 300 hours of work experience, my placement was with a doggy day care in St Catherine’s called Doggy Doos. I loved my experience there, I learnt so much about dogs, their behaviour and how to manage them within a large group. Fast forward a few months after and at the young age of 18, I become a self-employed dog walker.
Over the years I have so much experience with a variety of different animals. Up until Spring this year, I used to volunteer at a Sanctuary called Goatacre in Calne. I used to help out every Monday morning before work for the breakfast and clean up shift, they have Goats, Pigs, Sheep, Guinea Pigs and Bunny Rabbits.
I recently looked after a family of Sugar Gliders whilst their owners went on holiday, I really enjoyed looking after them and experiencing a new animal to look after.
In my personal life I own 2 dogs, 2 house rabbits and 2 gerbils. I spend my weekends taking my dogs on big hikes (because we clearly don't get enough walking done throughout the week!)
